Job Description

Our client, who specializes in commercial and residential electrical work for schools, commercial and municipal buildings, and outside line and substation construction, is looking for a part-time Help Desk Analyst.

Location: North side of Grand Rapids and is 100% onsite

This is an 8-month contract position.

This is a part-time position (15-20) hours/week Mon-Fri

Position Summary:Our clients technology team is hiring a part-time help desk & support specialist to support our field and office employees with technology solutions. This person will be troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues using phone, email, and in-person methods to provide great customer service and effective solutions to our end users.

Responsibilities:This person will be troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues using phone, email, and in-person methods to provide great customer service and effective solutions to our end usersTroubleshoot software and hardware issues presented by users across-orgInstall, configure, and maintain software and hardware, including desktop supportCollaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issuesMaintain a comprehensive knowledge base of technical solutions and best practicesProvide technical guidance and support to users, ensuring that they are proficient in the use of our technology systems

Job Requirements

Experience:* 2+ years of experience in IT support* Proven experience in software troubleshooting and desktop support.* Strong customer service and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.* Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Microsoft Teams
