OverviewLMI is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to spearhead our expansion of digitally-enabled solutions in the Intelligence market, focusing on USG Intelligence Programs. This role is designed for an energetic self-starter who excels in managing profit and loss, driving growth, promoting our offerings and solutions, leading and winning large competitive pursuits, and positioning LMI for future expansion. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining delivery excellence on current USG projects. This Director-level position is based in Tysons, VA.
ResponsibilitiesStrategy and Vision:
Support an organization that operates efficiently, follows defined LMI processes, and is well positioned for growth.
Implement a framework to drive new opportunities to prime contract vehicles.
Develop tailored recruiting and retention strategies in partnership with Talent Aquisition and the Service Lines to reduce attrition and staffing readiness as a risk.
Strategic Market Growth:
Lead and execute the strategic direction for the USG account.
Work with the PMs to identify organic on-contract growth.
Take existing solutions to market and/or tailor solutions to meet mission needs.
Nurture client relationships, including understanding their mission and challenges, and attend PMRs.
Manage external business partnerships.
Business Development:
Screen market surveys, RFIs, RFPs, and IDIQ TOs for potential action.
Attend industry events to gain insights into opportunities and partnerships.
Manage and update pipeline opportunities.
Support partner identification for opportunities.
Broker teaming agreements with guaranteed workshare.
Profit and Loss Management:
Assume overall responsibility for profit and loss, exceeding revenue and margin targets.
Understand opportunities and risks across the portfolio to accurately forecast year-end results.
Service Delivery Excellence:
Deliver high quality services that exceed client expectations, while managing cost and schedule.
Collaborate with SLs for optimal staff deployment and delivery.
Contribute to hiring, staffing, and retention in partnership with TA and SLs.
Team Leadership:
Extend LMI’s culture of innovation and high performance to teams operating in customer site locations.
Support PMs in their growth along the leadership track and as part of succession planning.
Serve as a people champion and empower HiPos and project teams by providing leadership, management, and coaching.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in quantitative/analytical field.
Minimum 10 years of experience applying advanced analytic techniques to real-world scenarios.
Minimum 7 years of experience using Python, R, or other coding languages to develop models and applications.
Minimum 7 years of experience delivering digital and digitally enabled solutions to federal government customers.
Proven experience managing P&L and federal government contracts, with a preference for managing portfolios over at least $10 million.
Solid understanding of and relevant experience with USG customer needs.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex contracts, exceeding customer expectations and driving growth.
Strong collaborative skills in a matrixed organization.
Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams.
Must hold a FSP government security clearance.
