Position descriptionThe Department of Surgery at the University of California, Davis Health located in Sacramento, California, seeks to hire a full-time Vascular/Endovascular Surgeon in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Associate or Full Professor level, in the Health Science Clinical Professor, In-Residence or Clinical X series. The Division of Vascular Surgery is a comprehensive academic program including an integrated residency in vascular surgery, basic and clinical research, an active clinical service.The selected candidate will contribute to the growth of the Aortic Center and educational, research and clinical missions of the surgical programs at UC Davis Health. Expected responsibilities include teaching; both inpatient and outpatient clinical care, and research relating to vascular disease. Clinical duties include coordination of advanced aortic procedures, overseeing aortic surveillance programs and developing a comprehensive aortic pathway in addition to resident/fellow supervision, open vascular and percutaneous endovascular work at UC Davis Medical Center Facilities. This position will have ready access to hybrid O.R.s, catheterization Labs, and Simulation Centers. The selected candidate will work collaboratively and integrate with our partners.Successful candidate will be appointed at the Associate or Professor level in the Clinical X, In-Residence or HSCP series depending on experience and qualifications.
