Grant Coordination Assistant

supports the administrative needs of the team and contributes to the coordination and completion of projects designed to support Seneca's mission, including development and enhancement of agency programs. Our programs deeply engage in conversations and training on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to bring equity and justice to the youth and families we serve.Responsibilities:Collaborate and coordinate across all levels of the agency in support of Strategic Initiatives projects.Assist in compiling and delivering agency proposals and developing proposal components in response to requests for proposals from public agencies and private foundations, as assigned.Support team leadership with the planning and implementation of relevant team trainings, meetings, or events.Assist in the completion of special projects, including letters of support, memoranda of understanding, cover letters, and policy projects, as assigned.Monitor, identify, and summarize opportunities for funding and program development for the agency.Track data related to Strategic Initiatives team goals and projects.Complete or manage administrative tasks including but not limited to: administrative support, project tracking, scheduling, meeting coordination, hiring coordination, facility needs, office supply ordering, and other duties as assigned.Represent Seneca in external meetings on matters of policy and practice, as assigned.Engage in and contribute to required Strategic Initiatives team meetings and team activities to identify and work toward team goals.Qualifications:REQUIREDEducation/experience requirements:

Bachelor's degree + 1 year of applicable work experience ORAssociate degree or equivalent + 2 year of applicable work experience ORHigh school diploma/GED + 3 years of applicable work experience.Applicable work experience includes any paid or unpaid experience in an administrative capacity requiring customer service, data entry, ability to prioritize multiple projects within strict deadlines, and coordination with multiple departments.

Clearance of TB test, fingerprints and any other mandatory state/federal licensing or certification requirements..Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an HR-approved medical/religious exemptionSKILLS OF AN IDEAL

Schedule:

Full-time

Monday-Friday : 9am-5:30pm

HYBRID: combination in-person at our CIE campus in Oakland and remote schedule.Benefits:

Starting at

$25.46 - $27.96

per hour.

Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualification.Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam.
