Overview:
SQL Database AdministratorLocation: RemoteClearance: Active SecretIntegral Federal is actively searching for a SQL Database Administrator to support our on-going Federal program in the Washington DC Metro area.Responsibilities:Designing and configuring database architecture, including hardware and physical layout.Performing monitoring and performance tuning.Provide ongoing database support in multiple-cluster production environment.Perform planned and emergency database maintenance.Handling best practices database troubleshooting, corruption, backup and disaster recovery.Managing distributed databases, and configuring client/server and web-based environments.Perform Development to Production database migrations.
Qualifications:Required:Active Secret clearanceBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Microsoft SQL database administration and clustering.Microsoft SQL networking and multi-site replication.Configure and manage Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC).Set up and maintain SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups.Implement and manage SQL Server Distributed Availability Groups for high availability and disaster recovery.Monitor and optimize performance of clustered SQL Server environments.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows and SQL Server clustering.Collaborate with other application owners to ensure seamless integration of clustered environments.Hands-on experience in database administration with strong scripting skills.Experience in large databases and Replication technologies.Database security (STIGs) and auditing.Database architecture, including hardware configuration, logical and physical database layouts.Database management, monitoring of multiple databases.Database performance management and tuning.Database fault analysis and resolution.Database backup and disaster recovery procedures.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently to complete tasks and activities.Desired - Knowledge of the following operating systems and platforms:UNIX / LinuxMS WindowsCompany Overview:Integral partners with federal defense, intelligence, and civilian leaders to tackle their most important challenges and deliver positive outcomes.
