Are you ready to make a difference?The ideal candidate will automate deployment of multiple mission profiles across deployed communications platforms supporting Air Force warfighters deployed globally in support of real-world operations and exercises. The candidate will also automate system and configuration deployment across multiple platforms worldwide. The candidate will adapt customer software requirements into hardware, while enhancing interfaces and performance of the tools given to the customer. The candidate will be directly involved with system testing and validation while working through technical issues relating to software maintenance and operations. The candidate will also work with Information Assurance professionals to ensure systems are built in accordance with DoD guidance and directives and maintain RMF certification.Producing top quality products for the customer is vital. Primary duties of the developer include, but are not limited to:Collaborate with team members to determine the best practices and client requirements for softwareDevelop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the customerProfessionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer concernsAnalyze and test programs and products before formal launchTroubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure products remain in top qualityActively seek ways to improve software processes and interactionsAid and support the training of other team members to ensure all employees and the customer are confident in the use of the software applicationsInvestigating and developing skills in new technologiesMonitoring everyday activities of the system and providing support as neededHaving a flexible work attitude and adjusting to customer IT restrictions pertaining to development and deployment of application systemsProblem solving and having good communication skills support requires interaction with customers, system administrators, and other supporting teamsExcellent interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to work in a team environment and collaborateAbility to work with the customer and translate the customers needs and wants into a useful productThe ability to analyze code for weaknesses, errors, and vulnerabilities and present detailed plans to improve themRequired Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI Eligibility5-8 years experience withAutomating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications (e.g. experience with Kubernetes, Docker or a similar product)Ansible, Python, Shell/Bash Scripting, git, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server, ESXi, vCenterComputer networking and security concepts (DNS, routing, switching, client-server, firewalls, certificates, etc.)Following and implementing best practices and secure baselinesBachelors degree (or 4 years of commensurate experience)COVID Policy: New employees will be required to adhere to the Companys and its clients COVID-19 safety procedures. In the event that the COVID-19 vaccination mandate for Federal Contractors is enforced, you must become fully vaccinated or request and be approved for an exemption.
