Evannex is the leading ecommerce destination for Tesla and EV enthusiasts across theworld based out of Northeast Ohio. Evannex is looking to add a Product Specialist toits NEO based team.
The Product Specialist is responsible for our catalog of products - this includesmaintaining our existing product catalog; ideation, onboarding, and merchandising ofnew products and brands; providing product support to our customer-facing teams. Heor she will be responsible for gathering customer insights, needs and desires by talkingto customers, conducting surveys, talking to our knowledgeable sales reps andgathering insights from social sites and forums to offer compelling new products andoptimizing the shopping experience for existing products. In addition, the ProductSpecialist will offer product support in-person, phones, chat, and email, for our customeroperations teams.
This role will also be involved in the creation of new Evannex products. The creation ofnew products will require collaboration with several internal teams such as the Research& Development to outline new product features, the Sourcing & Purchasing team toexecute a purchase order for new items, and the Marketing team to create compellingproduct focused content via social and email to support the product launch.Success of the individual will be measured on delivering quality support, launching newproducts to market with speed and quality through collaboration with the marketingteam and generating of sales and margin from those products including the agreedupon ROI.
Responsibilities:
Web Catalog - Partner with our Sales/Marketing team to ensure we are offeringthe best product offering based on customer feedback. Attractively merchandiseproducts on our customer-facing websites with category locations and vehiclefitments. Write product detail page descriptive copy that is informative andengaging. Coordinate and execute product uploads or updates across thecatalog.Web Catalog Pricing - Review and optimize the price for new and existingproduct to align with pricing strategy by product type. Monitor competitorpricing to ensure Evannex remains competitive in the market.?Product Development - Participate in the development and support of newproducts for Evannex. Define a clear sales expectation and cannibalizationanalysis for each product line or product that is being contemplated foronboarding. Accountable for the success of the product launch by making surewe deliver on the agreed upon sales and margin projections.?Inventory Support - Ensure we have accurate forecasting for projected volume,partner with Sourcing & Purchasing to ensure we have the appropriate items instock.Market Data - Analyzing and acting on feedback from Sales/Customer Service,email marketing, and social media interactions to improve our customerexperience by creating and maintaining a best-in-class product catalog.Marketing Support - Assist in finding influencers that can be utilized topromote new products. Work with creative team to include relevant and vehiclespecific photos, GIFs, and/or video contentOther Responsibilities - Perform other duties as assigned by the business.Requirements
Passionate about the EV industry - Previous experience with Tesla or EV ispreferredUpbeat, cheerful, positive personality that is customer focusedPrevious experience in an ecommerce environment is preferred1 - 2 years of proven experience in customer service and or sales with the abilityto troubleshoot and successfully resolve customer issues.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with bothcustomers and internal stakeholders.High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications incustomer service or product support is a plus.Professional phone etiquette and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Skilled at computer and data entry skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a team.
