Harbor Health is looking for a Psychiatrist to become a member of our team! Harbor Health is an entirely new multi-specialty clinic group in Austin, TX utilizing a modern approach to co-create health with those who get, give, and pay for it, allowing everyone to fully flourish. Join us as we build a fully integrated system that connects care to a better payment model that truly puts the human being at the center.
The Psychiatrist will have an important role in shaping care at Harbor Health. In addition to providing general psychiatric care and consultation primarily in the ambulatory setting, the Psychiatrist will develop care pathways and clinical rules to support primary care colleagues. Services will include in-person, virtual, and telephone visits. Harbor emphasizes the health of the panel rather than typical productivity measures in fee-for-service. As a specialist, you will work in an innovative, team-based care environment with an emphasis on digital health.
Our Psychiatrist will be responsible for:
Providing general psychiatric care and consultation to Harbor membersDeveloping care pathways and clinical rulesCollaborating to provide team-based careProviding Clinician-to-Clinician (C2C) e-consultation to streamline care for issues that do not require an in-person assessmentBeing involved in population health management to ensure appropriate screening for and treatment of psychiatric diseases across the Harbor Health populationFor candidates with appropriate experience, this position is eligible for consideration for a faculty appointment at Dell Medical School.
Successful Psychiatrists will have:
An MD or DO, along with the successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency programBoard certification in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and NeurologyA Texas Medical License or be eligible for licensure in the state of Texas
