Water Truck Driver/Laborer
Kerr Contractors has an immediate opening for a Water Truck Operator. This position is primarily responsible for the loading and hauling of water to designated areas, and spraying materials for compaction and roadways for dust control.
Required License:
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Tanker Endorsement
CDL B -Tanker Endorsement:
can transport various liquids and gases, such as gasoline, diesel fuel, chemicals, and liquid food products, in bulk quantities)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:Loading and hauling of water to designated areas, and spraying materials for compaction and roadways for dust.Operate the Water Truck and other equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.Perform proper pre and post-trip inspections, as well as daily maintenance.Perform proper machine start-up, operation, and shutdown.Operate safely and efficiently.Fill the truck tank with waterSpray water in designated areasMonitor vehicle performance, fluid levels, and mechanical fitness.Must be willing to perform other construction-related duties as required.Comply with the Company Code of EthicsAttends mandatory staff meetings.Being a safe and courteous driverQualifications
Must have valid Class "B" CDL (Tanker Endorsement)Must have a valid/clean driver's recordMust pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and have a current medical card.Must submit to a background screeningGood attitude and be willing to stay until the job is done.Must be willing to perform laborer duties as needed.Must have reliable transportation to workBenefits:
