Job Type Full-time, Part-timeDescriptionPosition:Incoming psychiatrist will work, full time, primarily outpatient with some occasional local inpatient coverage. Psychiatrist will work with and supervise at least 2 mid-level (PMHNP) providers, and take call (phone) 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month. General psychiatrist, geriatric psychiatrist, and child psychiatrist preferred, all will be considered. River Region Psychiatric Associates, is owned by our founder Dr. Chili. We areproudly the fastest growing private practice in the southeastern United States. RRPA manages inpatient psychiatry units and provides consult services to hospitals, operatesoutpatient clinics, including a mental health urgent care and a specialty woman's clinic. As partof our mental health ecosystem, we employ psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric mentalhealth nurse practitioners, family nurse practitioners, physician assistants, licensed clinical socialworkers, and licensed professional counselors. We also partner with community mental healthorganizations, rural health organizations, correctional facilities, rehab facilities, and nursinghomes.We have multiple locations in: •AL (Birmingham, Huntsville, Montgomery, Mobile) •AR (Ft.
