Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Value Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering business value to customers in the software delivery space. They will also be well versed in communicating the business benefits of Harness's software/solution at an executive level.
About the Role:
Develop business cases and financial models to articulate the business value of a partnership with Harness to customersWork closely with sales, marketing teams and customer success to communicate the value of our solutions to prospective customersCollaborate with customers to identify business outcomes that can be achieved through a partnership with HarnessConduct executive-level presentations and workshops to communicate the business benefits of Harness's solutionAbout You:
10+ years of experience in the software delivery space with a clear understanding of the software delivery process, including Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Software Reliability Management, Cloud Cost Management, Feature Flags, Security Testing Orchestration, and Software Engineering InsightsDevelop a deep understanding of Harness software/solutions and its business value propositionStrong business acumen and understanding of DevOps modernization efforts and the software delivery market as a wholeExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate (often complex) qualitative and quantitative benefits of implementing a mature, world class Software Delivery Life Cycle process at an executive levelStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop business cases and financial modelsProven track record of delivering business value with software delivery at an executive level and the ability to demonstrate previous examples of these engagementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related fieldWork LocationUS RemoteWhat you will have at HarnessCompetitive salaryComprehensive healthcare benefitsFlexible work schedulePaid Time Off and Parental LeaveMonthly, quarterly, and annual social and team building eventsMonthly internet & phone reimbursementThe anticipated base salary range for this position is $162,000 - $243,000 annually. The compensation package for this position also includes a commission/variable component, which is based on performance, plus equity, and benefits.
