Insight Global is looking to hire Data Center Technicians for a Fortune500 client in the Des Moines, IA area. The qualified candidate will be working alongside the cabling and logistics teams to complete necessary projects. This position ranges from $20-22 per hour based on experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Stage/run/label cables and have basic understanding of networking, connectivity troubleshooting, and computer hardwareFiber Link CleaningScope, test, QC, and troubleshoot power, cable connectionsPerform Troubleshooting and swap out failed componentsLogistics/Warehouse Support (Sending/Receiving)Handle storage media/Data Bearing Device (DBD) Reconcile/Physical AuditsBasic Server (Discrete/Rack-based) repair following documented proceduresMS Asset updates/auditingMiddle of Rack (MOR) buildoutPerform power cyclesRMA processing & Coordination with Logistics TeamInstallation of software and firmware updates.Receive logical and physical hardware into system
