Production Operator - Blow Mold - 4x10 2nd Shift

Blow Mold Production Technician Job Summary:The Blow Mold Production Technician monitors automated production equipment, maintains supply of production materials, inspects parts, operates forklift, and various other tasks, all with a major emphasis on quality and safety. Duties/Responsibilities:Operates production machinery in accordance with specificationsInspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenanceUnderstands the processing aspects of equipment, performs quality checks, and reports any defects to shift Leadership and QAPerforms bottle testing procedures and enters data into SPC collection centerMakes processing adjustments to the machine as needed Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded piecesMaintains a clean, safe, and orderly work areaPerforms other related duties as assigned RequirementsRequired Skills/Abilities:•Ability to follow directions and work well in a team•Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills•Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations•Interested in Continuous Improvement and able to thrive in a self-directed environmentEducation and Experience:•HS Diploma/GED Required. Three years of relevant experience (one employer) may be substituted•At least one year of related experience preferredPhysical Requirements:•Prolonged periods working on feet•Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced
