All About You

Saft produces high performance and high reliability batteries.This position is part of a division support industrial and mobility markets in the United States (industrial, mobility and infrastructure. Working with several cross-functional colleagues at the factory, the primary mandate of this position is to grow the telecom battery solutions (nickel, lithium) in the named region for the telecom market. The Sales Manager is expected to conduct both business development and territory maintenance activities. She/he mainly works directly with major telecom operators. She/he is required to conduct technical presentations to influence engineering in specifying Saft's products in projects. She/he is also leading the strategy for several proposals per year.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related fieldProven work experience as a B2B outside sales representative, preferably in the electrical solution or other technology product marketMinimum of 5 years of experience in field sales for technical solutionsProven record in achieving growth and budget on a consistent basisProficient with computers and advanced knowledge of MS OfficeFamiliarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationshipsHighly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in salesExcellent selling, negotiation, and communication skillsPrioritizing, time management and organizational skillsAbility to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needsRelationship management skills and openness to feedbackTravel is required - approximately 50% of the timeResponsibilities

Will help grow telecom battery solutions by developing and executing growth plans for existing and prospective customers for the assigned territory. While the focus is on telecom battery solutions, there might be requirements to develop business for other applications within the division.Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customersPlan and execute technical presentations to identify and establish relationships with consultants, engineering firms, EPCs, FEEDs serving the power generation and distribution/industrial marketPerform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needsEstablish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationshipsReach out to customer leads through cold callingExpedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfactionAchieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomesCoordinate sales effort with team members and other departmentsAnalyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reportsSupply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and servicesKeep abreast of best practices and promotional trendsContinuously improve through feedback internally and externally
