Overview:

Chiron Technology Services, Inc. currently has a Contracts Specialist career opportunity in their Columbia, MD office. The Contracts Specialist provides overall management and control of contracts administration activities. This position is responsible for administrative and operations support for corporate departments including Finance, Service Delivery, and Training.Responsibilities:Contracts AdministrationServes as the direct Point of Contact (POC) for contract administration with Primes/Subs/CustomersReviews and submits Monthly Spend Report (MSR), Federal Man Hour Report (FMHR), and other contract required monthly reports were applicableReviews and signs funding modifications and delivery orders. Process funding modifications in Unanet.Reviews, negotiates, and completes Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Teaming Agreements (TAs) on behalf of companyReviews, negotiates, and completes Representation and Certifications for company as neededReviews Time & Materials (T&M), Fixed Price (FP), and Firm Fixed Price/Level of Effort (FFP/LoE) contracts for compliance and requirements within the companyCompletes project set-up, contract modifications, and new contracts in Unanet or other company filesDocuments and implements contractual Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and metrics as neededCorporate Administrative and Operations SupportApproves employee timecards in Prime timekeeping systems for Program ControlEstimates costs for contracts for internal and customer purposesCreates and maintains SOPs as neededQualifications:Knowledge, Education and ExperienceBachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; Associate degree may be substituted with additional experienceMinimum of 3 years experience in an office setting in an administrative role supporting operations, finance, staffing, or similar functionsExperience using Unanet is a preferred.Experience managing contract administration for government contracting to include familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).Ability to communicate and negotiate various contracting agreements and work with partners/customers/resellers to ensure timely execution of said agreementsSkills and AbilitiesProficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook are required, PowerPoint or Photoshop helpfulProfessional oral and written communication skills in order to interact with all levels of the organization as well as external clients and vendorsAbility to handle extremely sensitive and confidential information and situationsAnalytical ability to compare data from a variety of sources for accuracy and completeness, identify discrepancies or inaccuracies and make correctionsAbility to be self-starting and to work independently after given directionsAbility to secure US government security clearance if neededCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salaryMedical, dental, and vision insuranceNon-matching 401K - You enjoy our support without having to contribute to get it!Basic Life and AD&D Insurance provided at no cost to eligible employeesAccess to Chirons catalog of self-paced training coursesTwo Paid Time Off (PTO)/Retirement Plan Options10K employee referral bonus programWe are an EEO/AA Employer.
