Metals USA is a solid, growth-oriented company servicing the defense, commercial construction, and road construction and fabrication industries. The Packer under general supervision performs duties such as receiving, placing/returning items into stock inventory locations.

Package bundles by placing metal strapping around the width and length of the materialProperly place paper corner protectors neatly to part specifications, to protect the customers' productUse packaging equipment to tighten the metal strapping around bundlesCheck parts to ensure correct size was producedResponsible use of material handling equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and side loaders.Accurately move and stock product, material, and various supplies into and out of designated storage areas.Interpret and anticipate material requirement needs at work centersEnsure that all inventory is maintained in a neat and organized condition and that the warehouse area remains clean and orderlyCan identify defects and package the designated itemsAny other duties assigned by Management.
