is looking for a Cybersecurity & RMF Lead (Senior System Administrator & Cybersecurity Specialist)Background:Position SummaryThis is a Cybersecurity & RMF Lead (Senior System Administrator & Cybersecurity Specialist) position at the GSC, National Simulation Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations (SO) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ.What You'll DoMaintains RMF servers for the siteBuilds, maintains, and configures all RMF ServersAssist team members with updating standalone systems, call manager, and ASTiAssist units and any other components during exercisesReviews STIGs and Best Business Practices (BBPs) to ensure all servers meet the required Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Army, and DOD standardsTroubleshoots MCIS and other related system software issuesManages MCIS and other related systems with IAVAs and updatesProvides IT Technical Support for the site, its functional training teams, and training unitsRequirements and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (Cybersecurity, IA, or related field) / 5 yrs. experience within the past 10 years, planning simulation exercise architectures, supervising implementation of communication systems, and integrating Army MCIS in support of distributed exercises5 yrs. experience in IT managementexperience administering server-side technology and networked computing systems; working knowledge of SQL and DB operations.;
knowledge and understanding DoD cybersecurity requirements, documentation generation, and related RMF accreditation processes2 yrs. demonstrated experience of current industry and DoD methods for evaluating, implementing, and disseminating IT security assessment, monitoring, detection and remediation tools and procedures utilizing standards-based concepts and capabilities2 yrs. experience as the lead for Cybersecurity / RMF / IA supporting projects or programs of similar size, scope, and complexity; experience assisting and training others in the proper RMF policy, procedure, and artifact documentation, collection, and retention practicesDoD IAM II / TS/SCISupport Hours:
The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of 0730-1630 Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. Contractors may work in an alternative workplace when the Government facility is closed. In the event of a Government Shutdown, the contractor may work in the facility, if open/manned, or in an alternative workplace.Place of Performance:
The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Fort Leavenworth, KS. All Contractor employees shall abide by local guidance at each installation as it pertains to access, face coverings, physical distancing, and mandatory quarantine policies. Any unknowns or uncertainties will be resolved with the KO or COR for questions or concerns.Travel:
The Contractor will be authorized travel expenses consistent with the substantive provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and the limitation of funds specified in this contract.Benefits:
