Nightwing is seeking an experienced and cleared Project Specialist - SME SP in support of USG in the Springfield, VA area. The right candidate will manage major responsibilities across multiple supply chain disciplines on a regular basis. Performs supply chain activities that cannot be attributed to a defined discipline. May also include professional employees required to perform activities across several disciplines on smaller sites.
Required Skills:Experience managing projects for the Customer; managing resources, working through review boards, Customer acceptanceStrong understanding of Customer field environmentAbility to work/coordinate with internal/external Customers/Vendors to gather requirements, develop plans and execute to timelines as requiredAbility to work and deliver on short suspense tasking/products in a fast paced potentially stressful environmentExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to effectively manage several projects simultaneously in a rapidly paced environmentExperience with Customer's Project Management FrameworkCreates, incorporates, implements changes to schedule(s)Working knowledge of Customer's official message systemWorking knowledge of Customer's organization, internal policies, and processesProject Organization/trackingExpert with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointWilling to "go the extra mile" in customer service and effort in ensuring that time critical requirements are metAbility to work independently and as part of a team of very strong personalities in a very dynamic environmentHighly mission orientedPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisorWorking Environment:
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds. Moderate, involving some relatively heavy physical demands.Travel: 25-35% CONUS & OCONUS travel required as neededAdditional Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of six (6) years of experienceEight (8) years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree for a total of fourteen (14) years of experienceMust live in WMA area as no relocation is provided for this role.Must have current forklift certification or be willing to obtain certification to operate a forklift
Required Clearance:
Must have TS/SCI security clearance with Poly on day one and be eligible for crossover.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
