As an agency we are inspired by our Mission of bringing hope to life, especially those most in need.Mon to Fri : 8am to 5 pmWage - $265,000 - $371,000Discretionary Sign on Bonus $40,000 - $50,000- Potential RelocationBenefits* Medical/Dental* FSA* 403(b) Retirement* Additional Voluntary Benefits* Paid Holidays* Vacation/Sick Leave* Education Assistance Program* Employee Assistance Program* Longevity awardsPosition Summary:This position will have responsibility for providing psychiatric services to identified adults seen at Catholic Charities who are enrolled for Mental Health services.Responsibilities:Perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management services to enrolled consumers.Provides psychiatric services to enrolled individuals in intensive treatment, as well as outpatient services.Works in conjunction with crisis services and Medical Services Manager in directing care needs of consumers receiving crisis stabilization servicesEvaluate consumers potentially in need of psychotropic medicationPrescribe, monitor and evaluate results of medication prescribed to consumersEducate consumers on benefits and risks of all medications prescribedOrder and evaluate laboratory tests as indicated for appropriate medical and psychiatric care.
Provides consultation to facilitate care of persons servedConsult with Catholic Charities clinical staff as needed.Coordinate and/or consult with outside physicians for psychiatric or medical management of a client under Catholic Charities care.Ensure accuracy of psychiatric diagnoses and assessments conducted by Mental Health staffProvide expertise and clinical leadership in the development of treatment and discharge planning for consumers served.Oversee quality and suitability of treatment and discharge planning for consumersProvide education and training to clinical staff regarding diagnoses, treatment planning, use and abuse of medications, health maintenance and related clinical issues.
Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with agency policies and proceduresFollow front office and departmental procedures established for effective program management.Follow agency infection control policies and procedures.Provide services and maintain records to meet BHO requirements, level of care standards, and agency guidelineMaintain productivity (direct client contact) to department standardMeet regularly with provider specific staff regarding systemic issues impacting patient careParticipate in team building and coordination to improve program operations and quality of service delivery
Document all clinical activities in conjunction with agency guidelines and proceduresComplete and submit progress notes and provider specific in a timely fashion using the agencys EHR.Maintain the security of AVATAR or other EHR system(s)Ensure medication consents are documented and currentProvide legal documentation as required
Understand and comply with all relevant regulatory and safety standards and requirements.Complete training and licensing requirements in accordance with professional standards of the disciplineSubmit licenses and insurance information within 10 days of renewalCompletes paperwork or online applications to assist with credentialing for third party payers.

ExperienceMinimum 5 years experience with direct patient care in psychiatric services

Licensure, Registration, CertificationCurrent licensure without any restrictions in the State of WashingtonActive DEA License to prescribeValid Washington State drivers license and agency requiredminimum liability insurance for WA StateMust be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities' liability insurance provider
