Immediate need for a Psychiatrist to join a well established Community Health Primary Care Behavioral Health group in Orange County area / Lets discussFull time / benefitedpart timeLoan repaymentMonday-Fridaymost details on the table for discussion? Manages the care of patients in collaboration with other health professionals and members ofthe health care team in order to make decisions about treatment and attain health goals.? Ensures that medical and patient care provided at our clinics is maintained at the highestlevels of excellence and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and best practices.? Provides high quality patient care at any of our sites to patients of various ages.? Provide urgent psychiatric evaluations, initial evaluations and deliver ongoing psychiatricservices for patients as appropriate to each patient. This includes comprehensive history,current medications, allergies, pertinent medical and psychiatric history, psychosocial anddevelopmental history and an appropriate mental status examination.? Formulation of a diagnostic assessment, treatment plan, disposition and follow up care. Thisincludes: rendering diagnosis, ordering and interpreting diagnostic test(s) as appropriate,recommending therapeutic treatment modalities (including medications), providing appropriatepatient instruction and/or referrals, monitoring symptoms, progress of treatment and treatmentresponse as appropriate. Prior medical and/or mental health records from outside providerswill be requested as appropriate.? Responsible for diagnostic clarity and medication management of patients in need ofpsychiatric medication and/or addiction medication.? Participates in case conferences and work closely in non-medical Behavior Health staff, andbe knowledgeable about addiction medication.?
