Hersheypark amusement park spans 121-acres, and welcomes guests to experience Hersheypark Happy all year long! As the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania, Hersheypark is home to more than 70 rides including 15 coasters and 20+ kiddie rides, as well as a zoo, and an entire water park. Wheelchair Rental Associates have the unique opportunity to coordinate and manage rentals of Wheelchairs, Strollers, and Electronic Convenience Vehicles (ECVs) for guests with accessibility needs who wish to experience the Park. Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

Actively engage with guests in order to provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experienceFacilitate the rentals of wheelchairs, strollers and electric conveyance vehicles to guests utilizing the program using a point of sale systemInstruct and guide guests on the operation of equipment, as well as how to use and enroll in the accessibility programAssist guests with any rental needs they may haveKeep proper logs of all guest rental information, wheelchair and Electronic Convenience Vehicles (ECV) breakdown information, and accessibility program informationMaintain cleanliness of all rental building spaces as well as all rental equipmentPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older on the date of applyingKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be friendly, upbeat, and work well with other employees and be able to interact with our guestMust display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelinesMust have the ability to safeguard confidential informationJob Demands:

Ability to work a flexible schedule including, days, evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to work a minimum of 24 hours per week, Memorial Day through Labor DayMust be able to work in a combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions. Employees are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather.Physical requirements include the ability to stand (for up to five hours at a time), walk, bend at the waist and knees and have repeated manual dexterity, and the ability to push, pull, and reach above shoulder level and lift up to sixty (60)pounds without assistanceNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
