Strategic Data Systems is looking for a Senior System Administrator with cybersecurity experience to support NUWCDIVNPT (Naval Undersea Warfare Center) Newport, for an upcoming contract award. This position includes supporting the Navy in windows system administration, Linux administration and scripting. Cybersecurity tasks include patching, vulnerability scanning, hardening, and reporting.
Position Experience Requirements:Five (5) years or more of demonstrated experienceDemonstrated experience and proficiency with DoD unclassified and classified networksDemonstrated experience configuring, deploying, operating, and maintaining:
- Windows workstations and server operating systems; Windows Server 2016 or newer
- Linux operating systemsDemonstrated proficiency in the hardening of Windows workstation and server environments, including:
- Implementation of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical and Implementation Guide (STIG)
- Experience with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAV) complianceDemonstrated experience in providing Information Technology (IT)/Information Assurance (IA) Customer Support ServicesDemonstrated experience with SharePoint IT/IA administration, including:
- Web parts, Web pages, Document libraries, CalendarsDemonstrated experience conducting vulnerability scanning, vulnerability analysis, and reportingEducation and Certification Requirements:
Possesses at a minimum Security+ CE certification, or equivalent certifications at a minimum of the IAT Level II, as found at the following website: https://public.cyber.mil/wid/cwmp/dod-approved-8570-baseline-certifications/Possesses Windows 10 or higher Operating System certificationPossesses Windows Server 2016 or higher Operating System certificationMeets the requirements equivalent to SECNAV M-5239.2 Appendix 4, specialty Area Code 45 - System Administration at an Intermediate or Advanced Level
