Stellar is seeking a Data Architect to join our team at our headquarters in Jacksonville, FL. The data architect will design and maintain scalable data architectures using Azure SQL, Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric. Key responsibilities include Power BI integration, supporting AI initiatives, enforcing data governance, and collaborating with stakeholders. Must have experience with Microsoft technologies, data governance, and AI integration, along with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data architectures using Azure SQL, Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric.Design and implement data models and ETL processes to support business intelligence and analytics needs.Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing to meet performance and scalability requirements.Design and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring they meet business requirements and provide actionable insights.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data visualization needs and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.Design and implement data pipelines and architectures to support AI model training, deployment, and monitoring.Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance AI capabilities and data-driven insights.Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, including data stewardship, data lineage, and data cataloging.Monitor and manage data access controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.Work closely with data engineers, data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide architectural guidance.Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Lead and participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture meetings.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data technologies, AI, and Microsoft tools.Recommend and implement improvements to data architecture, governance practices, and AI integration strategies.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer) is a plus.Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role, with a strong focus on the Microsoft technology stack.Hands-on experience with Azure SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.Demonstrated experience supporting AI initiatives and integrating data solutions with machine learning models.Proven expertise in data governance and management best practices.Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with AI technologies and their integration with data architectures.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.About Stellar
