Position SummaryTwo (2) temporary hourly-intermittent Work Study student assistant position available in College of Business Administration, Dean's Office.Days/HoursMonday - Friday; hours between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm , possible evening hours for events; up to 20 hours per week.Start DatePosition available on or after September 16, 2024, and ending on or before May 23, 2025. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.Job Description/DutiesDuties include but are not limited to:

Receptionist duties, responding to walk-in customers, telephone and emails.General clerical assistance.Light office cleaning, filing and organizing assistants.Collecting mail, distributing mail, and campus deliveries.Monitor frequently used office supplies for inventory.Assist with event planning and on-site eventsOther duties as assigned.

QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:

Demonstrates a pleasant, engaged demeanor.Demonstrates effective, personal communication skills.Demonstrates working knowledge of Microsoft Office, search engines, computer applications.Demonstrates prior office experience.Demonstrates the ability to maintain confidentiality.Demonstrates self-motivation to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.Demonstrates the ability to ask questions on tasks assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
