Software Resources has an immediate, Contract to Hire job opportunity for a Business Development Representative with a major corporation in Los Angeles, CA. Position is on-site in Glendale, CA 4 days per week and 1 day Remote.

Entertainment or studio production experience is strongly preferred.

6+ month contract to hire.

Job Summary:We are seeking highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic sales team. The BDR will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, identifying potential clients, and driving sales growth. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the sales process, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. The BDR will exercise discretion and independent judgment in developing and implementing strategies to meet company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation:

Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking.Qualify Leads:

Engage with prospects to understand their needs, qualify them as sales opportunities, and schedule meetings for the sales team.Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement lead generation strategies that align with company goals and objectives.Relationship Building:

Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry contacts to create a robust sales pipeline.Sales Support:

Assist the sales team with follow-up communications, proposal development, and other activities to close deals.Market Research:

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and potential areas for growth.Reporting : Maintain accurate records of lead generation activities and sales progress in the CRM system (e.g., HubSpot).Collaboration : Work closely with the sales & marketing team to align lead generation efforts with marketing campaigns and strategies.Travel : Travel to meet with clients, attend industry events,Qualifications:

Experience : 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to handle rejection, and excellent organizational abilities.Technical Skills : Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot), Google Workspace, and other sales tools.ttributes : Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player.Discretion & Judgment:

Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in decision-making processes.Contract Terms:This is a temp to hire position with an initial contract period of 6 months. Performance will be evaluated through the following KPIs to determine eligibility for a permanent role:

KPIs & Check-Ins:30-Day Check-In

Lead Generation : Generate a minimum of 50 new leads.Client Outreach:

Make at least 100 outreach attempts (calls, emails, etc.)CRM Management:

Ensure all new leads and activities are accurately entered into the CRM system.Initial Training:

Complete all initial training modules and demonstrate basic proficiency in CRM tools and company processes.

90-Day Check-In

Qualified Leads : Convert at least 20% of generated leads into qualified sales opportunities.Client Meetings:

Schedule a minimum of 10 meetings with potential clients per month.Pipeline Management : Maintain a clean and organized sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.Feedback Integration:

Show job improvements based on feedback from initial check-ins and training sessions.

6-Month Review

Sales Targets : Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets.Client Acquisition : Successfully onboard at least 5 new clients.Revenue Generation : Develop and present a strategic plan for continued growth and improvement in lead generation and sales processes.Long-term Strategy : Demonstrate effective collaboration with the sales and marketing teams, contributing to team goals and initiatives.Team Collaboration:

Bonus Plan DetailsThe bonus plan for the Business Development Representative will be structured as follows:

Quarterly Targets : Bonuses are awarded based on the achievement of quarterly sales targets and KPIs.New Client Acquisition : Additional bonuses for bringing in new clients or expanding existing client accounts.Team Performance:

A portion of the bonus may be tied to overall team performance to encourage collaboration and shared success.
