Software Developer with a specialization in Electronic Warfare
for the development of a real-time simulation application for our Aerospace Defense & Government Solutions group. This will require the use of modern SW development platforms and technologies (100GbE+ networking, RDMA, gRPC, etc) to meet the demanding performance requirements. Join us in a dynamic role as a Software Engineer with RADAR, EW test systems and signal generation experience, where you'll contribute to cutting-edge technologies in a global environment! This person will be responsible for working customers to create accurate simulation SW and models of RADAR systems for Keysight threat simulation platforms.
Specific Responsibilities: Building advance radar models Develop code to interface with customer hardware including 1553, RS232, and Ethernet. Adapting navigation data streams to our 6DOF models Perform System Integration at the SW level Setting up tests with direct injection and over the air tests (OTA) Working with customers onsite and phone to gather system integration requirements at the software level Customization for customer use cases Develop plug-ins for functionality Define and tweak requirements Improve test automation of building and scoring tests Drive testing and modeling Qualifications
BSEE required, MSEE preferred or equivalent education with emphasis in RF and microwave theory and applications Minimum 3-7+ years of Software development experience in C# C/C++, Python and/or MATLAB are helpful but not essential In depth knowledge of radar theory,
Radar warning receiver
(RWR) and jammers their applications and how they work Experience with an EW simulation systems and software such as AMES, A2PATS, CEESIM, NEWEG, Opana, SimulationView Test experience with EW systems to support mission data development Direct injection Anechoic chambers Air test Experience with intel sources such as NGES, EWIRDB, CED, and technical reports Experience creating the models with 4th / 5th generation parametrics for threat identification Experience with electronic test equipment such as vector signal generators, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers Background in any of the following areas is highly desirable: Radar and Pulsed RF applications, Electronic Warfare simulation and testing RF/uW/mmW communications systems and component test with modern VNA's, signal generators, and signal analyzers Space & Satellite communications and test systems Technologies in areas of communication standards such as 5GNR, 802.11, LTE Strong verbal and written skills, ability to demonstrate a final product to a customer and lead technical reviews This position requires a U.S. person.
