Business Development Executive - Firearms SalesAs a Business Development Executive, you will lead the charge in driving firearm sales through retail channels, employing robust sales strategies to enhance revenue growth.

This remote role requires a minimum of 25% travel.

Responsibilities:

Create and execute effective strategies to meet revenue targets within the firearms retail sector. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.Cultivate strong relationships with firearms retail partners, including gun shops, sporting goods stores, and specialty retailers. Serve as their primary contact, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and resolving issues promptly.Conduct comprehensive product training sessions for retail staff to deepen their understanding of our firearms offerings. Equip partners with sales materials, product samples, and resources to enhance their sales effectiveness.Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and customer service to assist retail partners and streamline the sales process. Ensure timely product delivery, resolve order discrepancies, and manage issues as they arise.Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and product development. Deliver regular reports and insights to management on sales performance and emerging opportunities.Ensure all sales activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing firearm sales. Stay abreast of legislative changes impacting sales operations and implement necessary compliance measures.Develop and oversee budgets for sales initiatives, promotional activities, and channel operations. Monitor expenditures, track performance against targets, and adjust strategies to optimize resource allocation.

Qualifications:

Experience in firearms sales or related retail sectors.Proven track record in sales, ideally within firearms or a related field.Strong grasp of retail sales principles with a knack for devising effective strategies.Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for building rapport with retail partners.Familiarity with firearms regulations and compliance requirements preferred.Analytical mindset to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.Self-motivated and results-driven, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
