Job OverviewWe seek a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Executive to lead Fire and Life Safety solution sales in the Iowa and Nebraska markets. This role requires a professional with deep industry knowledge, strong customer relations skills, and the ability to manage complex projects. As a Senior Sales Executive, you will work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to develop and deliver solutions that ensure safety and compliance across various commercial facilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and drive sales opportunities for fire and life safety systems, including building scopes of work and proposals tailored to customer needs.Proactively engage with customers, understand their safety requirements, and offer innovative solutions to mitigate risks during installation and commissioning.Interpret technical drawings and specifications to deliver cost-effective solutions and alternative approaches that set our services apart in the market.Coordinate with internal teams and estimators to manage project costs and timelines and ensure seamless handovers during technical reviews.Build and manage a qualified sales funnel, consistently delivering forecasted results while expanding the customer base in new verticals such as healthcare, education, and government sectors.Qualifications
A High School Diploma or state-recognized GED is required; a degree in a related field is a plus.At least 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or consulting within the commercial fire alarm/life safety sector or related construction industries.Deep knowledge of fire and life safety systems, equipment, and relevant building codes (e.g., NFPA, IFC, IBC).Strong financial acumen with the ability to independently estimate and sell technical service product lines.Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant business software.Valid driver's license with a clean record and the ability to travel overnight.Preferred Qualifications
