The School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment Research Advancement (RA) Team is looking for an individual interested in making a difference in the world, working with faculty who are making globally impactful advances in research, and having a career in a profession with various opportunities for growth. Professionals in Research Advancement collaborate with university professors and researchers in preparing and submitting research proposals. Research Advancement Professionals provide administrative services such as budget development, drafting agency-specific documents, interpretation of guidelines and policies, interaction with internal departments, institutional research administration and leadership, and coordination and collaboration with federal agencies. Professionals in Research Advancement are essential in helping researchers further advance scientific knowledge that benefits the public. The ideal candidate for this position will be someone that enjoys being part of a collaborative team environment supporting directly, researchers who are making globally impactful advances in research. They should be someone that has strong attention to detail, is looking to grow a career in a profession with various opportunities for growth, demonstrates excellent customer service skills, values continuous improvement, and enjoys complex problem-solving.
