Skills Required:
Single point of contact for the test organization and the feature owner, engineering team, and supplierManage the test project for the assigned features and programs including integration/definition, scope/coverage, time, communications, and riskDevelop and negotiate the testing scope and statement of workSupport the tradeoff analysis of test requirements vs test environment capabilities to define test scope and instrumentation strategiesAnalyze requirements, vehicle components electrical schematics, functional specifications, and FMEA documentationDesign, maintain and execute test procedures in alignment with test design guidelines and strategyDocument test environment, automation, and vehicle variant management requirementsImplement and validate test environment, automation, and vehicle variant management solutionsDevelop test procedures to validate the test environment (intake tests)Analyze test execution results to generate reports, document incidents, and drive them to resolutionTroubleshoot vehicle systems and test environment functionality to minimize false positive incident reportsImplement continuous improvement strategies for test design, management, and execution processesExperience Required:
5+ Years of experience in automotive software development or validations.5+ Years of experience in software development life cycle - CMMI or Agile process experience.5+ Years of experience utilizing software testing or quality assurance methodologies or ISTQB test methods2+ Years of experience testing Global diagnostics part -1 or Part -2 specification experience2+ Years of experience in validation support of dSPACE or NI HIL simulators hardware2+ Years of experience in dSPACE control and automation desk software.2+ Years of experience test automation and scripting development2+ Years of experience in distributed feature testing experience2+ Years of experience in ADAS/DAT feature testing support2+ Years of experience using Scaled Agile Framework SAFE implementing agile practices and setting up SW development workflows at an enterprise scale.Functional understanding of ASPICE SW development process and ISO26262 functional safety standard.Experience Preferred:
Experience in development and execution of functional test procedures within a software or vehicle testing organizationExperience in bench testing of distributed electrical systems (Electrical System Engineering) including bench functional integration, test execution, measuring and instrumentation, incident reporting and root cause analysisExperience in electrical schematics for vehicle components and systems and electrical architectures of distributed systemsExperience with development and verification of embedded software using hardware in the loop equipment and software (E.g. dSpace, National Instruments) Experience in test automation collaboration with Germany teamExperience in Client Diagnostics Engineering tools and software downloads. Experience in End-of-Line (EOL) validation support or ECU diagnostics testingExperience in implementing software configuration managementExperience in in software development with compiled and interpreted languages including C++, Python, visual basic and Matlab and their corresponding integrated development environments (IDEs). E.g. MS Visual Studio, SimulinkExperience in Experience in embedded controller networks (CAN, LIN) and the use of ECU diagnostic and network communication tools to verify and troubleshoot distributed vehicle systems (e.g. CANoe, CANalyzer)Education Required:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalentEducation Preferred:
