Job Description:Migration Experience:
BO to Tableau, any Tableau MigrationCloud Experience, Azure, Snowflake,Database Knowledge:
Netezza, SQL Server, Querying in BO.Tableau Solution Design:
Design and architect Tableau based data visualization solutions to meet business requirements and optimize user experience.Data Modeling:
Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement robust data models, ensuring data is structured for effective reporting and analysis.Dashboard Development:
Develop complex and dynamic dashboards that provide deep insights and are easy to navigate. LOD Functions.Performance Optimization:
Ensure Tableau solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and security, adhering to best practices.Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Training and Mentorship:
Provide training, support, and guidance to business users and junior Tableau developers.Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of Tableau solutions, including architecture, data flows, and design rationale.Data Governance:
Ensure adherence to data governance policies and collaborate with the data governance team to ensure data accuracy and consistency.Troubleshooting:
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau implementations, including performance bottlenecks and data discrepancies.Innovation:
Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and industry trends, and implement innovative solutions that add value to the business.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.7+ years of experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or a related field.3+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau, including advanced dashboarding, data blending, and Tableau Server/Online administration.Strong experience with data modeling, SQL, and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).Experience with ETL tools and processes.Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik) is a plus.Certification in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server is preferred.Preferred Skills:
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R.Experience in leading or managing a team of BI developers.
