We are an equal opportunity employer and employment is contingent upon completion of a successful background check.The Tanker & HazMat Endorsement Driver - Class A CDL safely transports and delivers gasoline and distillates by diesel-powered tractor/trailer combination to customer locations with below or above ground tanks. **The shift is the night shift.****Responsibilities:**Conduct inspection of fuel delivery equipment before, during, and after operation inspection of tractor/trailer combinationConduct inspection of fuel delivery equipment for serviceabilityConduct minor repair of worn fuel delivery equipmentEnsure all unit and product documents are present and comply with current DOT and HAZMAT regulationsSafely operate a fuel delivery tractor/trailer combinationAdhere to fuel loading terminal operating instructions and emergency proceduresSafely operate a tractor/trailer combination complying with all federal, state, and local rules and regulations in an urban and rural environment and in all weather conditionsLoad and unload a fuel delivery transportComply with all terminal loading proceduresDetermine before and after delivery tank measurements checking for water and other contaminationAdhere to company procedures for loading and unloading a fuel delivery unitEmploy customer service skills that are consistent with company customer relations policySafely operate unit pump system to deliver fuel products into above-ground tanksOperate the On-Board computer system effectively to maintain driver logs and trip information and prepare customer bills of lading (BOL)Accurately provide assessorial information onto BOLProvide DOT with required information during inspections and stopsConduct pump out of below or above ground tanksMaintain the highest standards of fuel delivery companiesRequirementsExperience in the petroleum fuel delivery industry requiredCDL A with Tanker and HAZMAT endorsements required1-year experience requiredSatisfactory completion of DOT physical and drug screen requiredDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person or in writing requiredTwo (2) years tractor/trailer driving experience requiredWe are an equal opportunity employer and employment is contingent upon completion of a successful background check.
