This is your chance to be a part of an in-house Technology team that's creating consumer-facing, cutting-edge technologies revolutionizing the hospitality industry around the world! As a Lead DevOps API Engineer, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the DevOps team reporting to Director of Platform and Pipeline Engineering, you will support projects including API Manager Roadmap and Passwordless Login. The role is based out of Memphis, TN, or Remote.

What your day-to-day will be like:
Enhance the scalability and resiliency of our API Manager environmentImplement Lifecycle management of the API management environmentLead the strategy to evolve our API Management solution with the goal of keeping Hilton at the forefrontHow you will collaborate with others:
Coordinate with software engineers to build a well-architected API Management environmentCoordinate with cyber security to implement authenticate and authorize functionality adhering to the latest standardsWhat projects you will take ownership of:

You have these minimum qualifications:
Five (5) years of work experience in Technology or a related fieldThree (3) years of experience enhancing API Management environments such as WSO2, AWS API Gateway, Kong, or MulesoftThree (3) years of solid and demonstrated experience developing enterprise applications using JavaFamiliarity with authentication and authorization standards and practices including Mutual TLS, HTTP Basic, SAML, OAuth 2, JWT, OpenID Connect, and FIDO.Familiarity with API Related Specifications/Standards including XML, JSON, Swagger/OAS 3.0, SOAP, and WSDLExperience with Bamboo or similar toolTravel up to 10%.It would be useful if you have:
Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experienceThree (3) years DevSecOps experienceThree (3) years of Site Reliability Engineering experienceExperience supporting 7x24, mission-critical systems
