Technology Evangelist

A successful Technology Evangelist creates and maintains compelling articles, presentations, webinars, and videos, and engages with users at user group meetings, trade shows, and conferences to raise awareness for CData products and technologies. In this position, you will engage directly with users and partners, interface with a variety of technologies, create compelling content, and work with different internal departments, including sales, marketing, product, and leadership. Your role would be to help communicate the power of the CData platform to the world.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Work with marketing and technical staff to write and produce detailed blog and knowledge base articles, whitepapers, eBooks, and other written content covering the entire breadth of integrations offered by CData Software's solutions.Assist the partner and channels teams by collaborating with partners on content and providing technical expertise to support strategic partner programs and elevate company tier status.Create and maintain compelling demos, videos, presentations, and webinars that inform customers about product features, new technologies, and business use cases around CData Software's solutions.Attend trade shows, user groups, and conferences to raise awareness of CData Software and grow the CData customer base.Foster relationships and increase reputation within the CData community and the industry.An independent operator - ability to self-task with the curiosity to explore the unknown.Qualifications:

2-4 years of hands-on software support, software development, data integration, or database administration experience.The ability to read & explain code, explain technology/APIs, understand & explain data concepts and technologies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage in one-to-many and one-on-one contextsThe ability to learn and work with a variety of data-centric tools and platformsPublic speaking experience (in-person and virtual)Familiarity with digital audio/video editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Camtasia, etc)Travel Required:0-10% potential travel as needed for marketing events
