Job Description

Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region.Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients, leading the negotiation and closing of new deals.

Account Management:

Manage and grow existing accounts by understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.Collaborate with the technical and customer support teams to resolve any issues and ensure seamless service delivery.Monitor account performance and conduct regular reviews to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Reporting and Analysis:

Track sales metrics, including sales forecasts, quotas, and performance against targets.Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.Analyze sales data and market trends to refine strategies and improve sales effectiveness.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and product launches.Coordinate with product development teams to ensure alignment with market needs and customer feedback.Represent [Your Company Name] at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.

The Successful Applicant

Experience:

Proven track record of success in sales within the electronic components or related manufacturing industry.Experience in both business development and account management roles.Strong understanding of the electronic components market and industry dynamics.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a results-oriented approach.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

Location:

Must be located in San Francisco, CA, or willing to relocate.
