Description:As an Advanced Business Analyst on the Planning, Accounting, and Ledger Management (PALM) team, you'll play a pivotal role in a multi-year, state-wide accounting and cash management system transformation. Your expertise will be essential in bridging the gap between business needs and the new financial management solution, ensuring a smooth transition by January 1, 2026.You'll collaborate with diverse business units, subject matter experts, and IT teams to analyze existing processes, define future requirements, and develop comprehensive test plans. Your insights will guide data migration, system design, and change management efforts. This is a high-impact role where your analytical skills and collaborative spirit will directly contribute to the success of a critical statewide initiative.Requirements:Experience:

3-5 years of demonstrated business/systems analysis experience in software development projects.Software Proficiency:

Expert in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Highly Desired:

Experience with Microsoft DevOps, Rules 60GG-1 – 60GG-5, Florida Administrative Code, data migration, change and release management, and testing/quality assurance tools.Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.Job Duties:Research and document business processes and system impacts related to PALM.Facilitate collaborative workshops with business units.Gather and document business and technical requirements.Coordinate with data migration and development teams.Create detailed use cases, business rules, and requirements.Develop and execute test plans and cases.Oversee deliverables for compliance with departmental standards.Ideal Candidate Profile:Business Analysis:

Expertise in research, business analysis, as-is and to-be analysis, and process modeling using tools like MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio. CBAP or CSM certification is a plus.System Analysis & Design:

Skilled in applying various modeling methodologies and techniques.Facilitation:

Ability to lead productive workshops and meetings with stakeholders.Technical Understanding:

Knowledge of IT infrastructure and software development practices.Project Management:

Familiarity with Florida Project Management Rule 60GG-1 and PMBOK principles.Additional Skills:

Advanced skills with Microsoft products (SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Project), ability to understand and document stakeholder needs, provide and receive constructive feedback, and thrive in a dynamic environment.Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or related field.
