School Bus Driver

PURPOSETo improve student achievement by transporting students to and from school and school related activities and non-profit organizations. Drivers who serve as standby drivers, to assist other drivers and support personnel as needed.

Most Drivers depart approximately 6:00 a.m. and return about 9:30 a.m. and depart again approximately 1:30 p.m. and return around 5:00 p.m. in the afternoon. Number of hours per day: Big Bus 4-6 hours per day / Small Bus 6-8 hours per dayApplication Procedure:

Starting substitute and training wage: $22.26 per hour (subject to change) Permanent positions range from $22.26 to $28.39

dependent on length of employment with the district and previous school bus driving experience.

No experience required - paid training will be provided.

Position requires an acceptable driving record. If you hold an out of state driver's license or have held a driver's license from another state within the last 3 years, please obtain a court certified copy of your driving record from the DMV in which your license was issued.Assistance completing the application and uploading documents is provided if needed.
