Christel House Schools is now accepting applications for an Information and Computer Technology (ICT) Help Desk Technician. The ICT Help Desk Technician will be may travel between all Christel House locations and have variable hours based on organizational needs.

JOB SUMMARY:Christel House Schools is seeking an ICT Help Desk Technician (Tier 1) to support our network of charter schools. This role focuses on providing technology support in a K-12 educational environment, working with staff and students to ensure seamless use of educational technology and systems. The position will involve a rotating schedule to facilitate cross-training across various school locations. The successful candidate will demonstrate an eagerness to develop new skills and knowledge, the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues and a commitment to professional standards and conduct.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Provide support for Chrome OS, Windows 11 and peripheral devices used in classrooms.Manage Google Workspace for Education (G Suite) accounts and other educational tools.Serve as the first line of support for IT issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems related to classroom technology.Perform hardware repair and maintenance, including break-fix tasks such as repairing screens, keyboards, and other peripheral devices; setup and configuration of new equipment.Maintain accurate records of hardware and parts inventory, ensuring proper tracking and documentation.Document and track issues in the internal knowledge base, escalating more complex problems to the ICT team as needed.Rotate through various school locations as part of a cross-training schedule, gaining familiarity with the unique technology needs and setups at each site.Collaborate with educators and staff to address technology needs and enhance the use of tech in the classroom.Other assigned duties to support the ICT department's goals and the educational mission.Requirements

Associate's degree or relevant experience in IT support.Experience with Chrome OS and Windows 11; familiarity with Google Workspace for Education is preferred.CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent is a plus.Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, educators, and staff.Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic educational environment.Punctual, willing to grow in the role, and committed to the mission and goals of Christel House Schools.Flexibility to work a rotating schedule and travel between school locations.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as reaching, stretching, crawling, and climbing.Must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.A complete application will include the following:
