JOB DESCRIPTION

My client is looking to hire Lead Supervisor to manage prestigious projects in the area. Supervisor needs to be safety minded & proven leaders. The successful candidate must possess the knowledge, experience and confidence to engage and professionally interact with the design professionals, consultants and client while successfully directing the subcontractors and other construction related personnel in planning, coordinating and safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget. This individual will work closely with the Project Manager and fulfill an integral role on the project.

ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and supervise all construction activities.New ConstructionDirects all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule.Maintains open, daily communications on projects to PM and administrative staffCreate and update project schedules for on-time delivery.Evaluate the effectiveness and performance of field personnel and their crews.Completes daily reports and daily timesheets on the job site.Attend meetings on and off-site as directed.Promotes safety practices and procedures.Qualifications

8+ years of construction industry experience with a minimum of 3 as a lead Supervisor. ( HVAC)New ConstructionResidential/Light Commercial/MultifamilyProven track record of successfully overseeing projects.Familiarity with OSHA regulations.Ability to read and evaluate blueprints and relevant contract documents.Experience with construction-related software is desirable.Understands and promotes the "team" concept.Ability to develop/maintain a positive working relationship with clients, the public, subcontractors, and suppliers.Mid to high rise experience is required.Compensation
