Job Description
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for all sales related activities within the assigned region delivering quality, building relationships, and loyalty with customers resulting in increased revenue and company profitability.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the role requires a high level of knowledge and experience in the field of engineered product sales, a thorough understanding of the Permian Basin Energy sector coupled with a strong commitment to delivering top-quality customer service.
This provides the opportunity to collaborate with our global Oil and Gas teams while working within a project sales team to provide a coordinated effort to ensure customer satisfaction and completion of sales projects.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' experience in Oil & Gas sales; preferred experience directly in valve automation Engineering degree or technical diploma is an asset Strong existing business relations with customers in target industries at a senior management level Familiar with techniques required to co-ordinate the sale of products and services on capital projects as well as to resellers and end-users Knowledge of and experience with the use of Microsoft Office The Successful Candidate:
Exhibit tact and strong diplomatic skills when dealing with all staff, customers and suppliers Delivering quality, relationship building sales efforts with the aim to build loyalty with customers resulting in increased revenue and company profitability Identify, create and execute high level marketing and business development activities to best position Rotork products and services Mapping of accounts to determine the core of the buying decision and working with allies and associates to ensure that the Rotork message is delivered in line with company objectives
