Summary:

ValidaTek is seeking a talented Application Management SME to support an enterprising program with our DISA customer. The performance expectations of this will be the following: Responsibilities: Serve as the knowledge expert to the JSP virtualization and content management environments supporting OM, NGC and Message Routing and Directory services. Provide expertise in the architecture, deployment, and sustainment of EMC VMware ESX virtual hosts, Virtual Machines, Storage Area Network volume management, and Microsoft SharePoint sites. Provide daily operation, monitoring, and administration of all distributed software applications and peripheral devices (e.g. printers, scanners), firmware, middleware, and operating systems that are used in the operation of JSP systems. Perform system operation and administration of large-scale active geographical clusters using a Government-purchased clustering tool, such as Dell EMC AutoStart or Symantec Veritas Clustering Server and clustered applications for Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL), Autonomy/Verity K2/IDOL and Telos AMHS platform. Perform operations and system administration tasks as defined below for the large and small scale ECGS systems (references the complete ECGS system and a tailored version called Mini ECGS) operated at primary and alternate site locations. Support the operation of all unclassified and classified contact directories and associated directory synchronization application software used in support of the Pentagon Area Enterprise Directory (PAED) system at the Pentagon and the alternate site. Support the operation of all unclassified and classified enterprise mail gateways and bridgehead systems at both the Pentagon and the alternate sites. Qualifications:

Active DoD Top Secret clearance Bachelors of Science degree in computer engineering, computer information systems, telecommunications, or management information systems. Or commensurate experience in lieu of degree. Information Assurance (IA) Certification: DoD 8570 IAT II certification. (Security+, CCNA Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP) Computing Environment (CE) Certification: Recent and relevant technical certification. HBSS Certification - required. Possess proven technical ability in the architecture, deployment, and sustainment of EMC VMware ESX virtual hosts, Virtual Machines, Storage Area Network volume management, and Microsoft SharePoint sites. 5 years of progressive experience of increased responsibility in systems engineering; hardware and software analysis, system integration, and system maintenance. 3 years (at minimum) of work related experience to include the following computer related areas: Networks, Servers, Storage Area Networks, and systems management; telecommunications; directory systems; Public Key Infrastructure, IT customer support and training; computer server and workstation installation, VMWare ESX virtualization technologies, diagnosis and repair; technical writing; computer security; knowledge management; database administration, design and management; system maintenance; information technology project management; design and implementation of geographical distributed information systems; computer scripting; Information System Testing. 3 years experience securing Operating Systems to comply with DISA STIGs; network experience configuring and maintaining desktop firewalls. . Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with the highest levels of management.

Posted Min Pay Rate: USD $95,577.60/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate: USD $159,296.00/Yr.

Salary Disclosure: Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
