DOT DriverYOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The DOTDriver is responsible for making timely deliveries to customers on the assignedroute in a safe and professional manner.

Description:

Drivingdaily Hazmat, Tanker, LTL, or Bulk loads in the local area.Loadingand/or unloading of bulk, drummed, or bagged material.Operatea forklift.Followall operating procedures, and work instructions.Reportsall non-conformances as they occur using proper forms.Performsall duties in a safe manner and follow all rules and regulations.Completes all training as required in the Regulatory/Compliance TrainingProgram.Properlyuse materials such as labels, placards, stenciling and paint.Properlycares for and uses all equipment such as forklifts, drum handling equipment,pumps, hoses, etc.Securedual sign off before transferring any product from one vessel to another.YOUR PROFILE

Education and Experience:Highschool Diploma/GEDA minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience in an industrial/chemical environment.Experience with box vans and tankers required.Current Class A CDL wit Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements, clean motor vehicle record, ability to meet DOT requirements.Must be able to pass a DOT physical evaluation and obtain a DOT Medical Card.A minimum of 3 years truck driving experience.Must be able to sit and drive for long periods of time.Must have the ability to repeatedly bend; lift, push, pull and or move up to 100 pounds; proper lifting techniques required.Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions in the English language.Comfortable with the use of a Forklift, and general warehouse duties.Knowledge of DOT load securement regulations.Employment is contingent upon completion of background investigation, E-Verify check, and pre-employment drug screening.OUR OFFER
