Agile Software Engagement Operations Product position.
Description:
The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Engagement Operations Team Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). The PO will be responsible for the Prioritization and validation of the development software for the Engagement Operations team. The position will include reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms and providing guidance to the development team. The product owner will work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint. The position will include technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the IFMC mission.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.Candidate must be a US Citizen.Must have a bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics, with 7+ years of experience in Government/DoD experienceThe candidate must have a basic understanding of Engagement Operations (EO) concepts including engagement planning/scheduling, threat evaluation, target selection, battlespace prediction, and sensor resource management.The candidate must have the ability to provide oversight to an EO SW development team and verify the team's work based on agreed-upon acceptance criteria, including attending code reviews.The candidate must be able to work directly with the Agile software developers.Must be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.Preferred Qualifications:
An additional plus is knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS and familiarity with current EO implementations in one or more of the DoD services. Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is a plus.Why employees love working for TriVector:
