We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales processes and a knack for creating impactful resources and training programs that empower our sales team to achieve their goals. As a Sales Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and tools that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our sales force.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams: Work closely with sales leaders, marketing teams, and product managers to ensure alignment between sales strategies and marketing initiatives. Gather feedback to continuously improve sales tools and training contentDevelop Sales Training Programs: Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops and seminars for new hires and existing sales team members using a variety of formats (in-person, virtual, hybrid)Create and maintain training materials: such as presentations, manual, e-learning modules, and job aids within HighSpot to support our sales teamCreate Sales Tools and Resources: Develop and maintain sales playbooks, product information guides, presentation decks, and other resources that support the sales team in their daily activities and client interactionsAnalyze Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify gaps in skills or knowledge. Use data-driven insights to refine training programs and sales resourcesOnboarding and Integration: Facilitate smooth onboarding of new sales team members, ensuring they quickly understand company products, sales processes, and best practicesSupport Sales Initiatives: Assist in rolling out new sales initiatives and strategies, providing training and resources to ensure successful adoption and executionMaintain Knowledge Base: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure that sales tools and training materials remain relevant and effectiveEmbrace and Uphold Ibotta's Core Values: Integrity, Boldness, Ownership, Teamwork, Transparency, & A good idea can come from anywhereWhat we are looking for:
Proven experience in sales training, sales operations, or a similar role (3+ years preferred)Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldDeep understanding of sales processes, methodologies (Challenger), and tools (HighSpot, Salesforce.com, etc.)Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectivelyProficiency in sales platforms and tools (e.g., Salesforce, HighSpot, etc.)Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improvementsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentExceptional organizational and project management skillsAbout Ibotta ("I bought a...")

This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.Base compensation range: $84,000-$93,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.Ibotta is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
