TT Boston features some of the highest power density designs for ITE and medical grade desktop AC/DC adaptors, as well as a family of open frame AC/DC offerings for BF (body floating) medical applications. We also specialize in IP67 rated, extended temperature LED drivers with constant voltage or constant current designs.The Director of Sales will oversee our Sales team supporting our Boston, MA facility. This position requires extensive sales expertise and experience in managing a team. This role reports to the SVP, Commerical and partners closely with the General Manager of our Boston facility. This is a fully remote position, candidates across the United States are encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesDefining and implementing a sales strategy. This will cover Market Development, including acquisition of new customers and entry into new markets, and account management covering growth of existing markets and customers.Strategic key account management, including technical and business problem solving for all stages of extended sales cycle process for Power Partners medical and industrial AC/DC Power supply products, Protek Power medical AC/DC solutions and MINMAX Power encapsulated medical and industrial AC/DC & DC/DC products.Maintaining company standards for gross margin performance by setting initial price list and analyzing key account proposals.The Sales Director will set out and manage the strategy for developing and expanding our footprint in US. This role reports to the SVP, Commercial with a dotted line to the GM & manages a team of 6.Accountable for forecasting, planning and achieving new business objectives.Completion of weekly and monthly reports and CRM data as required.Leader of all RevenueStorm and Salesforce activities associated with the business.Responsible for generating and converting a strong pipeline of opportunities that will lead to sustainable, profitable growth.Parter with the site VP/GM and Financial team on annual budget and quarterly sales reviews.Ability to travel greater than 50% of the time.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:Core RequirementsBachelors degree or equivalent work experience in related field with a thorough knowledge of customer applications.Minimum of five years experience managing commercial teams within Power Supply space delivering into relevant market sectors (eg, Industrial, Connectivity, Aerospace, Defence, Medical, Transportation)Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating and change management. Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectationsWork requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams.Familiar with distributor/channel management and have the technical ability to understand application areasIs highly organized and has very effective time management skillsHas demonstrated ability to close deals and move a company/strategy forward to successful outcomeCommercially astute, with well-developed and demonstrable business acumen and knowledge of the dynamics of the customer market segments
