Job Description

•Create a 3-5 day Orientation schedule with work readiness content in tandem with team lead

•Schedules and conducts workshops, webinars, orientations and other classroom activities designed to prepare job seekers for career pathways

•Create & maintain a catalog of all learning opportunities available from the Professional Learning team

•Create a schedule and content to cover programming for each: Virtual Reality, Orientation/Testing, and Workforce Readiness

•Provides classroom instruction to participants on various topics in preparation for job readiness and job search, and ultimately job placement

•Engages and motivates participants to help them develop the skills needed to secure employment

•Conducts group participation activities to build self-esteem

•Works with Talent Development Team to facilitate job search and placement maximizing retention

•Maintains accurate workshop data, including attendance rosters, evaluations, and other reporting documents

•Administers pre and post surveys to support the data collection requirements of company

•Documents all work activity in the WIT Case Management system

•Coordinates online learning activities; assigns appropriate courses related to individual employment plans and goals, and monitors progress

•Administers Pre/Post-test assessments per curriculum and course certification documented

•Conducts assessment of skills, aptitudes and abilities

•Researches and identifies and delivers appropriate curriculum as needed to meet course objectives

•Uses The Academy, LinkedIn Learning, Metrix, Classroom courses, and other online learning resources to promote permanent employment

•Ensures adequate preparation for all training activities; materials on hand, room set-up etc.

•Interprets employer feedback given from PD and BDL to tailor course content as needed to deliver strong talent pool

•All other training and training management duties as assigned

•Improve the job readiness score of students in workshops and deliver a pipeline of work ready customers to staff

•Conduct follow-up outreach to students not engaged in classroom activities and document efforts in case management systems

•Maintain student's assessments in files and student database

•Able to communicate effectively to both oral and written

•Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

- Related Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Demonstrated customer service skills.

- Demonstrated computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Office software programs

•Display the ability to work with a variety of cultures, languages, educational and economic backgrounds in a classroom setting

•3-5 years of instructional design and facilitation experience, preferably related to career preparation. Obtain, NCDA Facilitating Career Development Training and Certification Certification within 6 months of employment

•Strong facilitation, public speaking, and guided learning background

•Strong organizational and time management skills

•Ability to lead learning processes and relate to diverse populations

•Valid Driver's License in good standing and proof of current automobile insurance required
