What You Do.Identify key data sources and utilize them to identify trends and meaningful insightsDemonstrates knowledge and understanding of material requirements planning (MRP) and applies it to order and schedule materialsGain familiarity with commonly used logistics software, such as warehouse (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS)Perform analyses of financial data to support decision-making processesDevelop an understanding of customer order placement and the execution of deliveriesUtilize negotiation skills to secure favorable material pricingDevelop solutions for complex problemsConduct external benchmarking against performance standards and best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional departments to create recommendations and seek feedback to improve overall recommendationsSourcing / Understand the process to run Requests for Pricing (RFPs) and negotiating prices with suppliersSupplier Management / Understand the process to choose, onboard and manage suppliers

Your Education and Qualifications .Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or another related field, having completed junior year prior to the start of internshipPassion for learning and growing in the Supply Chain fieldPossess critical thinking skills and an inquisitive mindsetAbility to structure presentations in a straightforward and efficient mannerEffective business writing skills, including the ability to provide concise synopses and recommendationsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsProficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle required. There is no mass/public transit system to/from corporate housing location to company locations.
