As General Manager, you will lead and manage all aspects of the showroom's financial performance, and will work with the company's Sales Leadership to set and influence the short and long-term strategic direction for the showroom territory. As leader of the showroom you will develop, coach and lead a sales team to achieve or exceed company goals for sales and profitability; all while ensuring growth within the market and a superior service experience for clients.

Full financial P&L, operations, and account management responsibility for the showroomLead, coach and develop Sales team in selling, marketing, and new business development activitiesExecute organizational strategies to firmly position Waterworks as the industry leader for luxury bath and kitchenDevelop and maintain relationships within the architect and design communityEnhance relationships with current clients to increase salesStrategically guide and develop individual associate's account and CRM activity through regular one on one meetings to ensure marketing activities match potentialEstablish and maintain operational processes to uphold Waterworks brand imageInvestigate and implement innovative ways to proactively market Waterworks productsCreate showroom environment that delivers luxury experience to all our clientsCoach team to stay current on product range and competitors' offerings, and report findings to cross functional partnersHold designated showroom associate accountable for project management, offering outstanding service and follow through for our clientsEmpower associates to resolve client issues and implement solutionsOther responsibilities designed to grow market shareRequirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent5 years inside/outside sales experience in a showroom, retail or architectural design firmMinimum of 3 years experience in a sales management role within high end luxury brand environmentSelf-motivated team leader with excellent coaching and communication skillsWell connected within the luxury design trade around the showroomAbility to take charge, drive for results and make sound decisions quicklyAbility to negotiate and close dealsExceptional time management skills with ability to multi-taskAbility to inspire trust, integrity and professionalismInnovative and strategic thinkingPlumbing/tile/Construction background/exposure a plusProficient in all Microsoft Office applications: working knowledge of CRM systemsRequires up to 20% travelWaterworks is committed to promoting pay equity. Licensed to drive preferred. Ability to travel locally or out of state.Waterworks may require physical requirements within its Distribution Centers as follows: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, pull/push, climb and balance, and to be elevated up to 20 feet in the air on harnessed equipment. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 110 pounds with assistance from one other Associate and use of proper technique. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
