Zufall Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center with several locations in North & Central NJ, and has become a national leader in providing high quality, innovative, and evidenced based care to the the working poor and other underserved communities. We serve at the intersection of primary care, public health and social justice, and are seeking applicants who are looking for a position that combines family medicine with the ability to provide true patient and community oriented care.
We take a team based approach and expect physicians to operate at the top of their licenses, working collaboratively with our robust and highly skilled allied health & case management teams. These positions are outpatient only, with limited weekend and phone call responsibilities, providing an ideal work-life balance. Depending on desired location, we are open to a range of possibilities for clinicians, including medical student & resident teaching, mentoring of PA & ANP learners, leadership positions and broad spectrum family medicine (including pediatrics, procedures, and prenatal care).
Spanish language skills are helpful, but not essential. What is required is positivity, creativity, a belief in the power of primary care to effect real life change and a desire to address health disparities.
This opportunity can support both full-time and part-time hours.
Education, Training and Experience
MD or DO Degree with Family Medicine Board Certification
Successful completion of residency program accredited by ACGME or AOA in a medical specialty related to services provided by facility or diplomat of one of the certifying boards approved by the American Board of Medical Specialists or AOA.
Possession of a current, valid license to practice medicine in New Jersey in good standing
Possession of a valid DEA and CDS registration
Possession of AAHIVM certification preferred
BLS for Health Care Providers Certifications
Minimum 1-year clinical practice or experience providing direct patient care in an ambulatory care setting
