Aviation Engineering Designer
with technical expertise in airport airside and/or landside design, and project management skills to serve in the East District Aviation Market. The duties associated with this position are comprehensive and include business development, client contact, and project management.Responsibilities:Prepare and assist with developing project computations, estimates, and designs.Work to grow relationships and market share in the aviation market.Develop and maintain client and partner relationships through building trust and providing high levels of service.Plan, coordinate, communicate and facilitate activities of several disciplines on multiple projects from concept through completion.Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and partners.Manage project delivery, including scoping, budgeting, maintaining schedules, meeting budget objectives, communicating and meeting deadlines.Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications such as AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.Directs the preparation, tracking and submission of the project deliverables.Prepares and tracks projects, ensuring delivery of projects on time and within budget.Mentor Engineering staff.Build strong client relationships and gain repeat business.Work closely with the Regional Director and Aviation Line of Business Director to evaluate and prioritize target markets.Maintain and expand existing business relationships in the East Region Aviation marketHas demonstrated experience and can serve as key technical lead in planning/design/construction of significant aviation projects.Support review of contracts for compliance with TYLI policies and proceduresBuild a collaborative leadership among the leadership team.Serve as expert team member or technical advisor for select projects where expertise is needed.Lead the proposal preparation effort for aviation design projects and attend interviews, working with Regional Marketing and Technical staffDefine and ensure effective execution/adherence of the overall TYLI company initiative.Regularly travels to meet and interact with prospective teaming partners and clients.Qualifications:
